Probably the loudest take off I've ever experienced; the raw power and buzz saw sound of the classic CFM 56 engine onboard an aging Airbus A320. Fun fact: the engines used in the 767 and in the 757 are used in the 747 400s
I thin that the 744 shares its RR engines with the 767 rather with the 757. They sound differently and are essentially different models.
@@OmerMazaltarim the rr b221 are in the 767, 757, the ge cf6 are in the 767, 757, the pw4000 are in the 767, 757.
@@AleAv76784 Yeah, it's the RB211 in all of them, but the 757 it's the RB211-535-E4/B, and in the 767/747 it's the RB211-524 which sound slightly differently.

I like RR
I will never forget the first time I went to Israel; I flew El Al Airlines. As the Promised Land came into sight, tears started flowing down my face. I wasn’t the only one. When the plane touched down, a roaring applause erupted along with prayers of thanksgiving. And yes, I was one of the passengers that kissed the ground when we de boarded. That was in 1979, when I made my pilgrimage. I had just graduated from high school and spent my summer, before starting at university, volunteering on a kibbutz. It changed my life. My culture, spirituality and religion became one, during that time. Daily, I still am learning more. G-d bless Israel. Shabbat Shalom!✡️🕎🇮🇱

In early March 1991 I flew in there onboard an Arkia (or at least an Arkia leased) Boeing 707 - it was a straight in approach from SDV and that was interesting. Anyone know who owned the DC3/C47 parked there?
Nothing bigger than an E-195 took off from SDV, it was probably a flight from TLV. Either way, I'm glad to hear about it, a long gone era...

Omer Mazaltarim yes, El Al, and American (old and new) were the greatest. I miss AA’s old livery although I also like the new one. Aer Lingus, US airways, Azur air, Uzbekistan airways, Azerbaijan airlines. Were also great on the 757.
